This is the absolute most important rule we've got here, and it's simple enough that we expect absolute compliance with it. Use your judgment, here. If you have to stop and wonder whether something is being a dick, odds are it is.

When needing others to do things look within the guild first, then pugging.
When grouping use the need before greed rule
Please don't claim an item if you can't use it, or claim it just to sell. In the event that nobody else wants it, and you can use it at a later level, point out you can't use it yet and ask for it.
Do not try to sell items in Gchat. That is what the general/trade market is for. This is annoying to all members and if a complaint is received you will be warned.
Register: You must apply/register on this website. Please use your main characters name as your sign on name so we will know who you are.

After you have applied to the guild speak with an Officer to be Registered on Vent. This must be done in order to be eligible to be promoted. If you have been in the guild longer than 2 weeks and you have not done so then you may be removed from the guild. You will be welcome to rejoin But you must immediately at that Register/Apply on to Surgical Strike website & register on Vent!!!!
Vent: The Guild uses Vent. This is required as a member of Surgical Strike(if you are unable to get/use vent, let MysticWeaver, Bristine or BlameYouIDo know and explain to them). Vent will be used for all Meetings and Raids, so having it will help greatly. If you need any help with signing on please contact an Officer. The initial sign on information will be provided from the Guild Info panel in-game. Ensure to read the Vent thread on the forums for more information about our Vent
Attend Meetings/Events. You must be an active player. You should try to attend meetings/events whenever possible. We understand that we all have a real life but this is how you will support your guild, voice your ideas/concerns, know what is going on and of changes. Events are a great way to just hang, relax and get to know your fellow guild mates. If you are on line during a meeting and do NOT attend it looks VERY, VERY bad for you.
Inactivity. If you will not be able to play for more than 14 days please let the officers know and we will note your character LOA. Any player that is inactive for more than 21 days without notifying an officer may be removed from the guild. If you are removed and would like to rejoin us just let an officer know. Any alt character that is inactive for more than 14 days may be removed from the guild. For main characters being active means more than just signing on for a few minutes and signing off.
Guild Chat. This is the place to talk to everyone in the guild at the same time. Be respectful of those around you. Please refrain from the bad language in gchat as well as in Vent unless in a private channel or the Anything Goes Channel. A little here and there is OK but not in anger or every other word.
Forums. It is each member's responsibility to check the forums at least once weekly. So please check it frequently to stay informed.
In-Game Calendar. You must confirm for every Raid/event that you are able to participate in. DO NOT accept if you are not going to be on. Also see Raid Rules for more information on this.
Hacked Accounts. If for whatever reason you find your account has been hacked you must contact an Officer right away. You will be temporarily demoted to Oops. Let us know when your account is back under your complete control and we will promote you back to the rank you were. If you cannot get in game to tell us then do so through the forums or any friends you may be able to contact from in-game.
NO Drama. We understand that there will always be some drama, which we all know, but we are not here to listen to and deal with someone else’s drama continuously. We are here to have fun. If you consistently cause problems/drama you will be warned and may be removed from the guild.
Play Nice: For the most part, you can manage yourselves. If there's a problem with someone else, attempt to work it out personally, preferably in tells or a private channel, NOT guild chat. If you see someone persisting in being a jerk, contact your Guild Leadership for assistance.
Drop It. If someone asks you, politely, to drop a subject or stop contacting them, please do so. If a problem persists, despite attempts at a personal resolution, contact your Guild Leadership to act as an intermediary or arbitrator.
Intolerance is not Tolerated. There are millions of people playing this game, and billions more outside it. There are a ridiculous number of different views and beliefs and appearances and interests among all those people. Treat them all with at least a modicum of respect. If you can't do that, at least shut up. You don't have to like what they say or believe, but you damn well better be polite about it. This doesn't just apply to the usual political, racial, sexual, or religious beliefs. It also applies to fringe groups and subcultures like Goths, Ravers, Furries, Dom/Subs, Emos, and many, many more. We're all geeks here, of one type or another and that's what really matters.
Exceptions are made in the event that the group in question is centered around or involved in illegal activities. We will not participate or tolerate ANY illegal activities. And those participating will immediately be removed from guild
Do Not Beg. Do not beg for gold. Do not beg for run throughs for your lower alts. Do not beg for items. You will get a warning, and then you will be dealt with. We are here to play the game and have fun. Also, it isn’t actually helping the person who wants to be run through all the time. You will never learn how to properly play your class if you never have to play it. Run-throughs just make you suck at the game. If someone is begging then please notify an officer so we may talk to the person.
Warnings: If you receive a warning from an officer your character will be notated for the offense. If you receive 3 warnings it will be brought before the leadership and the odds are you will be removed from the guild. There are some offenses that will just straight up get you demoted/removed from the guild on first offense.
Some of the things you may receive a warning for are as follows but not limited to:
Language
Begging credits
Begging Run Throughs
Begging of any kind
Selling things in Gchat –Trade chat can be used for that or the auction house
Interrupting members while in Battle Grounds, Operations and/or Flash Points with Psts in game or on Vent.
Popping around channels uninvited in Vent
Harassing Other members
Being disrespectful to others in General chat, Trade chat, etc…. (when you wear our Guild name you represent Surgical Strike – Please remember that)
Over and Over asking someone to do something and they either tell you no or have not responded. If you ask for help in Gchat and no one responds, please do not ask over and over – refer to your friends list and pst them or ask in General/Trade Chat

I cannot stress this enough. Do Not be Annoying to an officer or other guild members, if complaints are received, this means that officers will have to deal with you and your actions instead of playing which is what we are all here for. This will not make us happy and will land your ass on the curb faster than anything else!!!!
