_____ Officer/leader Duties- We will not have just one officer for each of the following areas but we will have an officer for a few of the different areas - each officer should have a minimum of 3 areas below and 1 leader area.
Each area requires at least a primary and a secondary, in addition to one of the Guild Leaders, because as we all know real life really does happen.
Check which Areas below would you be interested in assisting with if approved for an officer position.
_____ Trade Market – Sell Items as requested on AH.
_____ Guild member Relations/Liaison – Talking to the members - seeing how things are going - if there is a problem this is the person to go to in order to assist with problem solving - what is working and what is not working.
_____ Master Looter - Not be the one running the raid - will assign gear to those who need it - as agreed to in the guild rules.
_____ Meetings – notes and assist as needed with agenda
_____ Bank Organizer - Keep the bank in order - usually best to make a toon that is just for this.
_____ Lottery – learn how to run the lottery for GMeeting.
_____ Enforcer/Guard - Need to ensure, that people are acting appropriately.
_____ Events – Setting up fun guild wide activities, treasure hunts, farming nights, etc... At least 1x a month - prefer 2xs - schedule on off operations nights.
_____ Vent – Setting up and registering members - must ensure they are registered and character updated on the website.
_____ Website – Ensure that all members are registered, claimed all their characters and have updated levels - levels should be checked every 2 week prior to guild meeting.
_____ Door Prizes - all officers must be willing to assist with this - For guild meetings - will be presented at the end of the meeting to the winner /roll for winner - this is for members who are AT the meeting location and ON Vent ON TIME - highest wins - examples: gems, enhancements, flasks, pets, etc.
_____ Farmers/Supplies - Creates/posts weekly shopping list on forums - keeps a list of who can supply what and ask them if they can assist with that.
_____ Scribe(meeting minutes) - We need this position filled RIGHT away - this person needs to be able to attend officer and guild meetings - must be able to take notes quickly and be able to get the minutes out to officers within 2 days. This is very important as it is hard to talk and write down what everyone is saying at the same time. Post patch notes on the website when available.
_____ Gear Coordinator - Assisting member in know where they can go to find out where to go to get the gear they need for their class/spec.
_____ New Recruit Coordinator – Look for stand up mature members for the guild who would be a good asset and fit in well with us. Ensure they go to the website and register and tell them who to talk to in the guild to register on Vent, info new members of operations schedule and who to talk to for help, check with them over first couple of weeks to see how things are going and to ensure signing on website and Vent. Encourage then to attend weekly GMeetings. Ensure they know where to go if they need anything.
_____ PVP Coordinator - coordinate an organized PVP run once or twice a month. Some of us don't do PVP but would be willing to with the guild.
_____ Operations leader - In charge of scheduling on the calendar all raids, letting recruiter know specifics we are looking for - organizing and running of the raids.
_____ Profession Leader: to make items for guild members as needed – guild member will supply the mats for what they need you to make. Which Professions: _________________________
